The Proton Pack is the first Ghostbusters HasLab project, and Hasbro Pulse Premium Members who supported the crowdfunding campaign within its first 48 hours will receive an ectoplasm goo accessory that can be attached to the pack's back. "Modular and lightweight, this scientific wonder is the closest you can get to strapping a real nuclear particle accelerator to your back (and much less dangerous)." "Look, we get it, not everyone is lucky enough to have an eccentric, genius grandfather who left us a fully functional albeit unlicensed nuclear accelerator," HasLab said in a press release.
It also comes equipped with a motor, bumper, shock mount and more. The intricately detailed pack also boasts all of the accouterments featured in the films, including a booster, power cell injectors and a cyclotron that can be opened and fiddled with by fans looking to get their hands dirty.
Based on the Proton Pack prop used in the upcoming Ghostbusters: Afterlife film, the pack will have two different modes - one which includes lights and sounds from the original 1984 Ghostbusters movie and one that features the new effects from Ghostbusters: Afterlife.
